Syed Athiq Pasha is a passionate educationist and visionary leader with a unique blend of expertise in both technology and pedagogy. As the Founding Director and Academic Head of Mountcrest Academy, he has been instrumental in shaping a progressive, student-centered learning environment that blends academic excellence with innovation.
Holding a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from M.S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology and an MBA in Education Management from Alagappa University, Mr. Athiq combines technical depth with strategic academic leadership. He brings over 14 years of teaching experience, complemented by a robust 12-year career in the IT industry, having worked with industry giants like Accenture, Dell Services, and NTT Data in roles ranging from Software Engineer to Software Development Advisor to Technical Lead & SME in Microfocus Development.
Beyond Mountcrest, he serves as a Trustee at Rhiza Academy, and Advisor to HallMark Public School, contributing to educational transformation across institutions. He is also a certified Science & Maths trainer from Pearson Edexcel, UK, and serves as an Examination Officer for Pearson Edexcel. At TEDxMountcrest Academy, Mr. Athiq brings his signature blend of tech-savvy insight, educational innovation, and visionary leadership, curating a platform that empowers young voices and future leaders.
Hajeera Shabreen is an accomplished education leader with over 13 years of experience in shaping young minds. She currently serves as the Principal of Mountcrest Academy, where she champions academic excellence and holistic development.
She holds a B.Sc. from University of Mysore (AVK Women’s College, Hassan) and a B.Ed. from Bangalore University (R.V. Teachers College, Bengaluru). She is also a trained IGCSE Master Trainer, bringing global best practices into the classroom.
With a strong focus on nurturing future-ready learners, she is dedicated to fostering innovation, leadership, and meaningful learning experiences that empower students to evolve and thrive.
Syeda Sanobar Fathima is the Vice-Principal of Mountcrest Academy with over 14 years of experience in education. She is a key co-organiser of TEDx Mountcrest Academy and holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Computer Science. An IGCSE-trained Master Trainer in Mathematics and English, she brings a strong blend of academic expertise and innovative teaching practices to the institution.
An active organiser of TED-Ed programs, she has been instrumental in the successful execution of TEDx and TED-Ed events at the academy. Her dedication to innovation and student engagement helps create platforms where young voices are empowered and ideas thrive.
Known for her strong leadership and collaborative approach, she plays a vital role in curriculum development, teacher mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the school. Her passion for nurturing holistic development ensures that students are not only academically competent but also confident, creative, and future-ready.
Shaistha Arfa G is the Lead Organiser of TEDx Mountcrest Academy and a Coordinator at Mountcrest Academy, with over 5 years of experience. A young and dynamic team member, she is known for her “never-give-up” attitude and her ability to ensure every detail is executed on time.
She also serves as the PR and Marketing Head for TEDx events, playing a key role in connecting with speakers and managing event execution seamlessly. An alumna of Mount Carmel College, she holds a degree in Humanities.
